A well-established international law firm is looking to recruit a motivated Junior Corporate Lawyer to join its friendly and dynamic team in Milan.
The firm advises a diverse client base, ranging from entrepreneurs and growing businesses to major corporations, multinational groups and institutions, on a broad spectrum of business and legal matters in Italy and internationally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who enjoys variety and wants to develop a broad commercial practice in an international environment. The role will focus primarily on commercial law, contract drafting and negotiation, and providing day-to-day legal advice to clients on both Italian and cross-border matters. The work is varied and intellectually stimulating, offering exposure to different industries, business models and legal challenges. No two days are the same.
Working closely with colleagues in Milan and across the firm\’s international network, you will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, advise clients on contractual and corporate matters. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to corporate transactions although these will not be the primary focus of the role.
The ideal candidate will have gained initial experience in a well-regarded corporate or commercial law practice in Milan, with a solid grounding in Italian civil, corporate and commercial law and, ideally, exposure to international contract law. You should be curious, proactive and commercially minded, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working closely with clients.
Fluency in English is essential, as you will regularly collaborate with colleagues in overseas offices and work on international matters. The ability to communicate confidently and clearly in both Italian and English will be key to your success.
