PQE: ,1-3 years PQE Area of Expertise: Private Practice Location: Rome
We are currently seeking an M&A Lawyer with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience to join a Rome-based practice advising on corporate/M&A and general commercial matters. The practice has a focus on regulated sectors, including energy, healthcare, new technologies and environmental industries, and is characterised by significant cross-border transactional work.
The successful candidate will work directly alongside the Partner, gaining hands-on exposure to all phases of transactions and client advisory work. The role involves assisting on domestic and cross-border M&A deals, including share and asset transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations, as well as drafting and negotiating transaction documentation and supporting due diligence processes. In addition, the position includes advising on general corporate governance and commercial matters, often within complex regulatory frameworks.
Applicants should be Italian-qualified lawyers with solid experience gained in a reputable law firm, with a strong grounding in corporate/M&A and general commercial law. Exposure to regulated sectors and cross-border transactions will be highly valued. Fluency in English is essential, given the international dimension of the practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong drafting skills, attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to operate autonomously while working closely with a senior professional.
