Our client specializes in the Energy Infrastructure and Tech and Digital Transformation (Growth Capital) sectors. The company is seeking a Head of Legal.
In this role, you won\’t just be overseeing legalities, but rather, you\’ll be at the very core of the business. You\’ll be involved in exciting M&A transactions, contributing to the renewable energy practice from acquisition to operations, and supporting the fundraising process for our Growth Capital arm. Your creativity and innovative legal problem-solving will be an asset as you guide us through new and evolving legal challenges.
This person will be primarily responsible for supporting our Renewables business’ ambitious growth plans. In addition, they will take on a range of legal work with a focus on fundraising, deal execution, contracts and agreements, and management of external advisors for our Growth Capital arm.
The ideal candidate will have gained experience in corporate/M&A, ideally in the energy and infrastructure industry.
You will have experience in M&A transactions, with demonstrable ability to independently negotiate highly structured M&A deals and support project development processes. Experience in managing complex project development cycles with aggressive targets and short deadlines. Capability to work autonomously, with limited supervision, in an exciting, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment. Excellent analytical and synthesis, problem solving & decision-making skills.
